From training to practical opportunity

WODEF supports women and girls through skills-building pathways that go beyond attendance and focus on usable, market-relevant learning. The goal is not only to transfer knowledge, but to make sure participants can translate that learning into income opportunities and stronger self-reliance.

What makes the approach effective

Training is strengthened by mentorship, exposure, and encouragement. Participants are better positioned when they can connect newly gained skills to realistic next steps in enterprise, employment, or community-based opportunity.

Why this matters

Economic confidence helps reduce vulnerability and increases choice. Practical skills create room for women and girls to participate more fully in household, community, and economic life.
