ABOUT US

OUR VISION IS A COMMUNITY WHERE GIRLS AND WOMEN LIVE FULFILLED LIVES

The Women Development Fund (WODEF) is a registered Community-Based Organization founded in 2022 under the Directorate of Social Development, Kisii County to empower young women and girls.

The Organization is currently implementing its activities across Narok, Bomet, Kericho, Kisii, Migori, Nyamira, Homabay and Kisumu Counties in Kenya. WODEF works with other women’s groups and coalition movements to empower girls and young women by strengthening their livelihoods, expanding their opportunities, promoting gender equality, and safeguarding their rights, dignity, and well-being.
