CASCADE REACH Ambassadors’ Training in Kenya’s South Western Belt

The Women Development Fund (WODEF), in collaboration with the S.H.E Coalition, is implementing the CASCADE REACH initiative to empower community ambassadors across Kenya’s South Western Belt to champion HPV prevention, cervical cancer awareness, and reproductive health education.

Through targeted training, selected ambassadors will be equipped with accurate information, practical advocacy skills, and effective community engagement approaches to raise awareness, address myths and misconceptions, and promote informed reproductive health decisions.

As grassroots champions, the trained ambassadors will play a vital role in mobilizing communities, encouraging HPV vaccination awareness and cervical cancer screening, sharing reliable health information, and linking community members to appropriate health services.

Through this strategic collaboration, WODEF and the S.H.E Coalition aim to strengthen community-led advocacy, improve health literacy, and promote preventive health practices, contributing to healthier, better-informed, and more empowered communities across Kenya’s South Western Belt.

Together, we are building a network of informed and empowered community champions working towards a future where every community has access to accurate health information and the opportunity to make informed decisions about their health.
